I would consider myself anti-feminist

Alright, in regards to me tagging something on tumblr as “anti-feminist” I’m gonna clarify for anyone who’s interested

I support equality, but men and women in the modern western world are pretty damn on par with one-another. Feminism is irrelevant to me. It is relevant to third-world countries where women have no rights; but not here. Not where I live (first-world Australia).

I don’t consider “manspreading” a triggering issue worth talking about. I can walk alone at night without the constant fear that every man I see is going to rape me. If I want to work in a male-dominated field then I have the opportunities to do so. The pay gap does not exist anymore. Abortion is a general human rights issue that is mainly a religious debate, not a gender-based one. I have been cat-called once, and it was by dumb teen boys wearing ‘mother’ energy drink shirts (aka, dickwads who would do it to anybody). Rape ‘culture’ is something feminists made-up. Bad people rape and bad peopledon’t think it is a large problem, but gender isn’t the core issue; and the same goes with any form of abuse. 

I feel like I have the same rights as my male counterparts, if not more. 

Feminism that focuses on my demographic is pointless. It is just a bunch of whiny women trying to blame men and 'society’ for their own insecurities and it makes me feel ashamed. I support equality among all humans (race, gender, sexuality, etc), but feminism in modern, western, first-world countries is NOT about that anymore. If you support equality for everyone, not just between men and women, then that is called humanism, or even egalitarianism, my people!
So yeah, I’m anti-feminist.

Sorry for not wanting to be lumped into the same group as women who coined the term “Mansplaining”.

    I agree. It's so ridiculous that feminists (the radical ones) refuse to accept that both genders are practically equal. I hate when you hear people talking about it that slander men, when they don't even have all the facts!

  This is absolutely outrageous. There are horrible things happening all over the world all the time. I mean no disrespect to the victims of the NZ mosque shooting when I say this, but why is there so much censorship after this particular event? What makes the footage of THIS shooting more awful than any other? Why is THIS shooting causing so much outrage in the media in comparison to videos of Mexican cartels flaying people alive. The Pink Tax

Does this come in pink? Okay, so you’ve probably heard of  ‘The Pink Tax’  before. Particularly if you call yourself a feminist. This  ‘Pink Tax’  refers to the fact that products marketed towards women cost more than  similar  products that are marketed towards men (e.g. razors, body wash, most self-care products). The theory is that  women pay more for the same products as men , which is entirely false. It gives off the impression that cashiers add some  female-fee  to your total regardless of what you buy at the supermarket. No, people are complaining that  similar  products have different costs. The facts are that the  female equivalent of some products cost more than the male ones because they contain more or different ingredients.
